I had planned to use this very quote recently.
That’s when I realized how much all this necessary mask-wearing is keeping us from seeing one another smile. Saying “Smile” on a mask doesn’t quite cut it. Does it?
While we can agree that mask-wearing has become a current, necessary, and hopefully temporary norm, SMILING will ALWAYS be ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY
for our well being as a human race.
WORLD SMILE DAY OCTOBER 2, 2020 !! LET'S SHOW 'EM HOW IT'S DONE!
JOIN ME & SHARE. A. SMILE. I’LL MAKE IT EASY FOR YOU. HERE’S HOW.
Plan on seeing a great big smile every afternoon from Positive on Purpose on Facebook and Instagram. All kinds of people from all kinds of places. Hopefully, you'll be smiling, too, as you hit SHARE with anyone you think needs a boost. Smiling IS contagious, you know.
EACH TIME YOU SMILE, YOU THROW A FEEL-GOOD PARTY IN YOUR BRAIN.
The act of smiling activates neural messaging that fights stress, lowers blood pressure, and reduces feelings of anxiety and depression. Experts from psychology, medicine, and science have performed countless studies showing that smiling has the power to enhance relationships, improve your mood, make you look younger, and even help you live longer.
Plus, who doesn’t look better smiling? When someone smiles at you, isn't it automatic to smile back?
These days, smiling has become a challenge...mask-wearing keeps us from seeing smiles even when they exist.
